PF seizes video of ‘underwear party’ at Curitiba court

During the operation on Wednesday (3/12) at the 13th Federal Court in Curitiba, federal police seized a video titled “Underwear Party.”

The recording could have been used to blackmail judges in a sentencing scheme, showing members of the court in a five-star hotel room in Curitiba with call girls.

The article found that these meetings were held monthly, and were funded by law firms.

Operation PF was ordered by the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court, Dias Toffoli, and focused on investigating suspicions about the use of classified information to pressure decisions of the court responsible for Operation Lava Jato.

In addition to the video, agents collected physical copies of operations and documents from investigations conducted prior to Lava Jato. The package included information related to businessman Tony Garcia, who worked as an informant in the investigations led by Judge Sergio Moro at the time, and data related to cooperation agreements with the cashier Alberto Yusuf.

In June 2024, a report by the National Council of Justice (CNJ) had already highlighted the potential misappropriation of public resources by judges serving on the court in cases linked to Petrobras.

The document states that Moro, when he was a judge, would have acted in partnership with Deltan Dallagnol and Judge Gabriela Hardt to allocate R$2.5 billion to create a private entity. Moro then denied the accusations and described the report as “fiction.”
