British photographer Martin Parr, famous for his images with which he humorously depicted the daily lives of his compatriots, died this Saturday at the age of 73, his foundation announced in a press release on Sunday.
“It is with great sadness that we announce that Martin Parr (1952- … 2025) died yesterday at his home in Bristol,” said the foundation, along with Magnum Photos, the agency for which the photographer worked for many years.
