More than 141,000 workers still have the right to withdraw the PIS/Pasep bonus from 2025 until next Monday (29). The total amount released amounts to 145.7 million reais.
The last batch of the year was released in November by the MTE (Ministry of Labor and Employment), through an additional batch, which made the payment of BRL 156.5 million available to 152,444 beneficiaries. This year, the program received a total of 30 billion reais to pay for this benefit.
The value of the bonus paid in 2025 varies between R$127 and R$1,518, depending on the number of months worked throughout the base year of payment, which is 2023.
The sums that are not withdrawn before the 29th will be returned to the FAT (Worker Support Fund), but it is possible to request the money within five years, from the end of the calendar.
It is common for workers to forget to withdraw their bonus because they do not know that they are entitled to it, for example.
The PIS/Pasep 2026 schedule has already been approved by Codefat (Deliberative Council of the Workers Support Fund) and payments will begin to be made on February 15.
The benefit will be paid to 26.9 million workers, for a total of 33.5 billion reais in resources. The release date takes into account the month of the birthday and the money is available until the last working day of the banking calendar in December of the following year. The consultation to find out if you will receive it will begin on February 5.
Professionals holding a formal contract and civil servants registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years, who have formally worked at least 30 days during the reference year, i.e. 2024, are entitled to the salary bonus, of up to R$2,765.93. The employer must also have correctly entered the data in the Rais (annual list of social information).

What changes in the PIS/Pasep from 2026?
From next year, changes will be made to the payment of the salary bonus. The government has limited the amount of salary that entitles you to this benefit. The intention is to carry out an adjustment of expenditure, according to the PEC (draft amendment to the Constitution) approved in 2024.
Until then, anyone earning up to two minimum salaries during the base year was entitled to the PIS/Pasep bonus. From now on, this value is corrected by inflation measured by the INPC (National Consumer Price Index), IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics). For the reference year 2024, the limit was R$2,765.93.
The values will decrease from year to year until reaching 1.5 of the minimum wage in 2035.

What is the amount to pay?
The worker can receive up to a minimum wage, depending on the number of months worked during the reference year. The calculation of the allowance takes into account 1/12 of the minimum wage in force on the date of payment, multiplied by the number of months worked in the corresponding year, rounded, according to the Ministry of Labor.
If the beneficiary has worked throughout 2024, he or she will receive a minimum wage bonus. We will take into account the value of the minimum wage in force in 2026, the year of payment, forecast at R$1,621 by the government. Fractions of 15 days or more are considered 30 days.
How is PIS paid?
Payment of the PIS (Social Integration Program) is made by the Caixa Econômica Federal to private sector workers who have a formal contract. Money is automatically paid to bank customers, based on the worker’s birthday month.
Anyone with a current or savings account with Caixa automatically receives credit. Other beneficiaries benefit from digital social savings operated by Caixa Tem, through which it is possible to pay bills, make transfers, pay at the machine and make purchases with the virtual debit card.
How is Pasep paid?
The Pasep (Civil Servants Asset Training Program) is paid by Banco do Brasil to civil servants who worked in the 2024 reference year.
Banco do Brasil customers receive payments directly to their accounts. Others have to look for a bank branch of the institution to withdraw the money. You must bring a photo ID.
