The final of the Paraná Cup, an amateur championship promoted by the Paraná Football Federation (FPF), played between Capão Raso and Trieste, Saturday afternoon (13), at the José Carlos de Oliveira Sobrinho stadium, in Curitiba, was interrupted by an invasion of supporters and a general brawl, which ended with two injured players. After the episode, Trieste Futebol Clube and the FPF spoke about what happened.
During the confusion, striker Bill, formerly of Coritiba, and defender Jair, who played for Trieste, were attacked. Both required medical attention and were taken to hospital. The match was interrupted by the referee due to the lack of minimum safety conditions for the remainder.
HEAVEN BROTHER
Bill – former Botafogo, Coxa, Santos and Ceará striker – beat in the Paraná Cup final and is UNCONSCIOUS.
The players started fighting and not only did a nasty fight break out, but they also opened the door to the fans.
