
The final result of the National Educational Test (PND) should be made public this Wednesday (12/10). To view the performance report, the participant must access the PND system, enter their CPF and gov.br password and check the result on the participant’s page.
The tests took place on October 26 and lasted five hours and thirty minutes. A total of 1,086,914 people registered, with São Paulo being the state with the highest number of participants (253,895), followed by Minas Gerais (97,113) and Rio de Janeiro (72,230).
Pedagogy is the field that received the highest number of applications (560,576), followed by humanities – Portuguese (73,187), mathematics (72,530) and physical education (65,911).
According to the notice, the result of the eliminated participant will not be announced even if he or she has taken the test.
The result of the PND can be used by teachers during the selections of the basic education network, whose public entities will define the best use of the grades. In addition, the performance will also be used to evaluate courses, as part of the National Student Performance Examination (Enade).
The results will be made available on a scale of zero to 100 points and presented with reference to the performance standards defined by the Ministry of Education (MEC), through the Anísio Teixeira National Institute of Pedagogical Studies and Research (Inep). Check it out:
- More than 50 points – basic standard
The participant who obtains more than 50 points will be awarded the basic standard, which means that he or she is able to understand and reproduce the theoretical and methodological foundations essential to educational practice, recognizing the importance of legislation, diversity and human rights in the educational context.
In addition, he is able to identify and use methodologies, educational resources and evaluation strategies in a guided way, even with limitations in the articulation between theory and practice and in the contextualization of activities; demonstrates initial knowledge of the Brazilian education system; is able to recognize challenges and propose simple interventions, promoting student participation; have minimum conditions for planning, conducting and evaluating educational practices, while requiring support to be able to carry out these actions in a reflective and contextualized manner.
- More than 70 points – adequate level
The participant who obtains more than 70 points will be awarded the appropriate standard and, in addition to the basic standard skills, is able to analyze, select and apply methodologies and assessments in lesson plans, based on ethical, legal and pedagogical principles; acts critically, promoting student autonomy.
It also uses different resources and technologies, linking scientific, educational and technological knowledge to social and cultural reality; plans and conducts educational practices and assessments, reflecting on results to improve performance; recognizes challenges in the school context and offers strategies to promote citizenship, social justice, and overall student education.

The PND will be applied annually and is aimed at high school graduates. Registration is compulsory for all students in undergraduate courses qualified for theoretical and practical assessment related to the areas assessed, according to the qualification criteria established in the notice.
Dubbed CNU dos Professores or Enem dos Professores, the assessment is part of the Mais Professores para o Brasil program. According to the federal government, the objective is to bring together actions to recognize and qualify the teaching of Basic Education and encourage teaching in the country, in addition to encouraging the holding of public competitions and the increase of qualified teachers in public educational networks.
