Prison without bail for the mother of the minor murdered in Almería and her companion

The Civil and Investigation Section of the Court of Instance Plaza number 4 of Vera (Almería), acting as guardian, decreed this Saturday the provisional detention of the two people arrested for the violent death of a four-year-old minor in the Almeria municipality of Garrucha.

After going to court this Saturday, judicial sources indicate that the judge ordered the temporary entry into prison, communicated and without bail, of the minor’s mother and her lover companion. According to the sources consulted, the man testified, while the minor’s mother exercised her right not to do so. Both are initially investigated for murder and habitual abuse.

In context, the detained man He had a restraining order from the little boy’s mother.who was his romantic partner. The sources of the investigation confirmed this point regarding the man, who is not the biological father of the minor, who is outside the province of Almería.

The Civil Guard arrested the child’s mother and the man after locating the body on a beach in Garrucha, on the border with the municipality of Mojácar, in front of a gas station, on the night of this Wednesday, around 11:30 p.m.

Before locating the body, emergency services received alerts around 8:10 p.m. indicating the disappearance of the minor under strange circumstances. The investigation, conducted under the seal of secrecy, attempts to clarify the alleged participation of each of the people involved. The mother, although a resident of Garrucha for over a year, was currently residing in another coastal municipality in the Levant region, in Almeria.

The announcement of the loss of the minor caused the mobilization of the Civil Guard, the Local Police and Civil Protection.
