Prizes worth R$1.9 million and a spotlight on Brazilians

The 2025 SLS Super Crown season finale in São Paulo will award prizes worth R$1.9 million, of which R$545,000 will go to the male and female champions, with seven Brazilians among the competitors.

Ibirapuera Gymnasium, in São Paulo, is about to welcome some of the biggest names in the world of snowboarding to the SLS Super Crown, the grand finale of the 2025 season. It is the third time in a row that the capital, São Paulo, has hosted the international league decider, and the fourth in a row in Brazil.

In addition to the title of champion of the season in the main league of the sport, skaters have a financial incentive to further hone their competitive instinct: the winners of the Super Crown title, in the men’s and women’s categories, will receive a minimum of 100 thousand US dollars (545 thousand Brazilian reais at current prices).

The prize pool is the same in both competitions and follows the classification criteria in the final: the runner-up gets US$12,000 (R$65.4k), the third-placed teams get US$11,000 (R$60,000), and from fourth to sixth place, the prize is US$10,000 (R$54.5k).

From 7th to 20th place in the final standings, each athlete will receive US$3,000 (R$16,300) – in the case of skaters, this prize extends up to 10th place. Only 10 women compete in the SLS Super Crown, while the men’s competition includes 20 athletes.

In total, SLS will offer prizes worth US$360,000 (R$1.9 million) in the Super Crown.

Among the 30 skaters who will compete in the season finale at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, seven Brazilians will have fans behind them: Giovanni Viana, Felipe Gustavo, Felipe Mota, Carlos Ribeiro, Gabriela Mazzito, Dora Varela and Raisa Leal – who will compete for the Super Crown championship for the fourth time in a row.
