“We all know their qualities, because we saw them play this summer at the Club World Cup. It will be very difficult, they play very good football and have experience,” said Luiz Enrique.
Unlike Flamengo, PSG, champions of the Champions League, had a direct place in the final of the Intercontinental Cup. The Rio team progressed in two phases. They first beat Cruz Azul 2 x 1 then Pyramids 2 x 0.
