The PSOE of Jaén announced the opening of a disciplinary case against its advisor to Martos Manuel Cortés for the publication of a video in which he appears singing sexist and sexist songs.
Through a declaration, the PSOE of Jaén affirms to act under article 83 of the federal statutes of the party and, at the same time, requests its application the preventive suspension of the mayor’s activism on the basis of Article 90. Likewise, the PSOE urges Manuel Cortés to make available to the party his file as councilor at the town hall of Martos.
The PSOE of Jaén “categorically condemns this type of behavior, wherever it comes from, and that is why acts accordingly to clarify responsibilities which come at the right time”, indicates the socialists’ press release.
“These are unacceptable and repugnant attitudes that we will not tolerate in this organization, because they are totally contrary to the values and the principles of feminism and equality that inspire us,” concludes the briefing note.
