The PSol already considers the dismissal of federal deputy Glauber Braga (PSol-RJ) as certain, but is considering legalizing the issue, although it has difficulty getting the Federal Court (STF) to intervene in this matter.
The plenary of the Chamber of Deputies will analyze, Wednesday (10/12), the revocation of the mandate of the psolista, accused of violating parliamentary decorum by expelling from the Chamber the activist of the Free Brazilian Movement (MBL) Gabriel Costenaro, in April 2024.
Federal deputy Sâmia Bonfim (Psol-SP), companion of the psolist, declared that the party was surprised by Motta’s order. When Glauber was on hunger strike and sleeping on the floor in the fifth plenary session of the House committee corridor, the president reportedly promised to warn them before considering impeachment, but they only learned about it during the leadership meeting held this Wednesday (12/10).
The Ethics Council even approved, by 13 votes to 5, the revocation of the psoloist’s mandate. However, in agreement with the President of the Chamber, Hugo Motta, it was decided that the plenary vote on the complaint would not take place for 60 days.
