THE Rabbi Eli Schlanger, aged 41, is one of the fatal victims of the attack occurred this Sunday (14), on Bondi beach, in Sydney, according to information published by the British newspaper The Guardianwhich cites the Jewish media Jewish News.
Born in London and the father of five children, Schlanger was assistant rabbi at the Chabad of Bondia Jewish cultural center, and grew up in Temple Fortune, north London.
“How can a cheerful rabbi, who went to the beach to spread happiness and light, to make the world a better place, see his life end like this? ” his first cousin, Rabbi Zalman Lewis, told Jewish News, according to The Guardian.
