This Sunday 7 afternoon, at Ibirapuera Gymnasiummarked a historic moment for global skateboarding: Rayssa Leal won the Super Crown final and became the first four-time champion of SLS, cementing his dominance in the sport once and for all.
The Brazilian, applauded by a packed house, surpassed names like the Australian Chloe Covell and the Olympic champion Coco Yoshizawa. The decision format maintained the SLS standard: two 45-second rounds, with the lowest score discarded, and five individual maneuver attempts, the four highest scores in total worth it.
Rayssa began her title campaign with personality. In the first round, despite slipping backwards during a difficult move on the handrail, he showed control and style to achieve a score of 8.3, a score that thrilled the audience.

In the second round he fell again, recording 5.3, which ended up being abandoned. But it was in the individual maneuvers that Fadinha showed why she is one of the greatest of all time. He first performed his classic maneuver on the handrail to earn a score of 7.5. Then, he raised the level again and produced a clean and technical execution which earned him 8.7, regaining the lead in the final.
With the arena in absolute suspense, Rayssa pulled off another solid move, scoring 8.1 and opening up an advantage that her rivals couldn’t overcome. In the last round, she failed and Chloe Covell, the only one capable of threatening the Brazilian, also fell, thus sealing Rayssa’s title.
Already a champion, the Maranhão native was emotional as she attempted her last attempt, being embraced by the supporters who filled Ibirapuera. In an interview with SporTV, she got emotional: “I’m very happy, I don’t have words to describe this feeling. The goal this year was 100% this Super Crown, we made some mistakes in Paris, I didn’t reach the final, but I’m very happy to come here, to see the public and to be able to represent Brazil”.
Also this Sunday, at 2 p.m. (Brasilia time), the final of the men’s Super Crown category will take place. Giovanni Vianna is the only representative of Brazil, since Felipe Gustavo, Filipe Mota, Carlos Ribeiro And Gabriel Aguilar They failed to qualify during the qualifiers.
