
New stage for Real Madrid in its battle against Barça in the Negreira case. The white club appealed to the investigating judge full access to economic documentation related to payments from the Catalan entity to the vice-president of arbitrators.
The former referee Estrada Fernández, appearing as a popular accusation, made it public through his X account, where he attached the letter from Real Madrid, in which he claims that access to audits and “due diligence” and “forensic” reports on the economic management of Barça between 2010 and 2021, carried out by external companies such as KPMG, PwC, Deloitte or Kroll.
Additionally, it also requests access to hundreds of documents provided by FC Barcelona in July 2023 and discover the club’s internal investigation into these payments.
Real Madrid also requests that Carlos Naval Biosca, delegate of Barça, declares as a witness, as well as requiring offices and entities involved to provide additional communications, claims, and documents related to the proceeding.
According to Estrada Fernández, the objective is “show all papers and specify what was paid and why”in addition to verifying whether the million-dollar payments were justified.
The communicator Ramón Álvarez de Mon provides more information to the publication of Estrada Fernández, assuring on his YouTube channel that Real Madrid’s goal is “extract multiple tracks” of these audits and reports.
