Chelsea will have a double dose of reinforcement for the clash against Aston Villa, scheduled for Saturday (27), at Stamford Bridge, in the Premier League. Brazilians Estevão and Delap, both recovered from their injuries, return to training and are available to coach Enzo Maresca.
Delap has recovered from a shoulder injury suffered in the draw against Bournemouth on December 6, which could have initially kept him out for longer. For his part, Estevão had not played since December 13, when he entered the match against Everton and suffered a muscle injury.
“Estevão will be available on Saturday, as will Delap. We were not sure of Delap’s recovery time, so I am very happy with the return of both,” Maresca said at a press conference this Wednesday (24).
Chelsea are fourth in the Premier League, with 29 points, seven behind third-placed Aston Villa with 36. Arsenal are top with 39 points, followed by Manchester City, with 37.
