
After a spectacular year in the Mirassol jersey, Reinaldo revealed that he still dreams of wearing the Brazilian team’s jersey. The player indicated that he expected to be recalled by Carlo Ancelotti due to his good time in the Leão Caipira jersey.

“I hope to be called up and I dream of wearing the jersey of the Brazilian national team. I look forward to the wonderful year that I have had. I am sure that next season, already starting the match schedule at a high level, until the last chance to be called up, I will fight and dream for this goal, which is the dream of my career”, said Reinaldo, during ESPN’s Bola de Prata.
In the Brazilian league, the 36-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided six assists in 34 matches. He played a key role in helping Mirassol qualify for the Libertadores group stage in the team’s first Serie A appearance.
Throughout his career, Reinaldo played for clubs such as São Paulo, Ponte Preta, Chapecoense and was at Grêmio before being signed by the São Paulo club.
