There will be a new march for victims of contaminated fentanyl tomorrow, Tuesday, December 16, at 6 p.m. in La Plata and at the same time in Rosario to demand justice for one of the causes that is shaking the country.
It will be the second call “against silence” and will have the motto “to keep the memory and justice alive” and to spread “the truth about the death of our loved ones”. Plaza Moreno will be its epicenter. In Rosario the focus will be on the Flag Monument.
“This meeting confirms the memory of our loved ones, the common struggle and the same cause and the unity of the family,” the victims’ relatives said in a statement. “Today we are fighting for a current state of affairs and immediate responses from those responsible for political and administrative responsibility for the adulterated fentanyl massacre. We hope for support for a social cause and to ensure that something like this does not happen again in Argentina,” they added.
Legislative support
“The Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Buenos Aires declares its support for the second march against silence for the victims of adulterated fentanyl, its solidarity with the families of the victims and its support for the demand for remembrance, truth and justice,” the letter said.
“The fentanyl massacre is the logical result of a chain of systemic failures. Each link in the chain of control not only failed, but also did so in a way that exacerbated the negligence of the previous one,” said the report, signed by Congresswoman Mónica Schlotthauer and Christian Castillo.
