
A religious leader is under investigation for raping two teenage girls, aged 11 and 12, in Várzea Grande. The arrest of the suspect, a 60-year-old man, took place this Monday (12/15) in Chapada dos Guimarães, 65 km from Cuiabá (MT), but the search and seizure warrants at his home were executed in the morning of this Wednesday (12/17).

According to the civil police, Operation Hidden Enemy, launched by the Specialized Police Station for the Defense of Women, Children and the Elderly of Várzea Grande (DEDMCI-VG), began with complaints against the suspect, which occurred at the beginning of December.
