There was a time of VHSVideo club and drawing Sundays. Of the films we rewatched tirelessly, some remained in the back of our minds.
One of them is “The rescuers in kangaroo country”an adventure with rescues, danger and humor that is rarely mentioned today.
The Animated film from the early 90swith Hero mice, rescues, adventuresand an exotic setting in Australia, was another first at the time Disney.
But with the generational change and the Avalanche of new classics it became a hit, but his name remained silent.
The film follows the usual rodent heroes of Disney: Bernardo and Biancawho this time are tasked with rescuing a boy named Cody who has been kidnapped by a ruthless poacher named Cody Percival C. McLeach.
Rescue will take them into the wilderness Australiawhere they must navigate dangers, rely on new allies like a pilot albatross, and brave an inhospitable wilderness to rescue the boy and protect a majestic eagle.
For many who saw it as children, these scenes were recorded. But as the years went by, “The rescuers in KangaroolandIt was no longer mentioned, it disappeared from classic recommendations and for many it became simply “that Disney movie I saw as a child, but I can’t remember exactly what it was like.”
