Over the course of more than two decades of the program, many participants have seen their financial lives transformed. Many, in fact, did not need to win to become millionaires today, like Gil do Vigor, Grazi Masssafera and Sabrina Sato. What’s new in BBB26
Last week, presenter Tadeu Schmidt, 51, announced some news that will arrive in the next edition of Big Brother Brazil.
According to Tadeu, even before the premiere, scheduled for January 2026, fans will have a mission: choose the 10 candidates who will represent the Pipoca group within the reality show.
The selection of Pipocas will be done through a dynamic carried out simultaneously in all regions of the country. In total there will be five greenhouses. In each of them, four candidates will try to win the public’s preference and thus secure a place in the BBB26. Of the four, the man with the most votes and the woman with the most votes from each chamber will guarantee a position in the fight for the millionaire prize.
Participants will be chosen by vote on the official program website. The platform will also play an important role throughout the competition, allowing fans to promote in-game “changes.”
In addition to the new dynamics of choice, Big Fone will be equipped with new features. According to the presenter, this time there will be three devices distributed throughout the house, and the audience will have an essential role in the game: they will choose which Big Fone will play with the message.
