Isabelle Marciniak, rhythmic gymnastics athlete from Paraná, died this Wednesday (24/12), at the age of 18. The young woman was one of the main promises of this sport, but had to interrupt her career to fight against Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Isabelle’s career has been marked by great achievements. Among the main titles won by the athlete are the gold medal at the Brazilian Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship won in 2021. In the competition, the young woman won the all-around title and also won the competition on the ball and ribbon apparatus.
In 2023, when she was still 15 years old, Isabelle was champion of the Paranaense adult sets trio.
