Residents of Artists Retirement celebrate the end of the year: through letters, residents expressed their Christmas wishes and delighted Internet users on social networks.
The message, made this Tuesday 9, shows the name, age and requests of some of the residents of the institution located in Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro, known for housing artists and professionals related to entertainment.
Wishes range from family visits, better health and even an “unusual apartment on Avenida Atlântica”, in Copacabana, Rio. The request came from actor André Oliveira and received good-natured comments from users.
“I loved the apartment proposal!” one of them joked. “Seu Andre and I want the same Christmas present,” said another.
Director Osvaldo Sargentelli, who called for “a healthy and curious head”, also received praise: “Our memories are our treasures”, wrote one Internet user.
According to the Artists’ Retreat, the Christmas wishes were a dynamic launched by all the residents. They include photographers, actors and actresses, dancers, writers, singers, instrumentalists, circus artists, filmmakers and costume designers.
“We asked our residents to choose what they would like to receive for Christmas and each request carries a little piece of the history, memory and desire of each of them. It is our tribute to them and also to you who follow, support and are part of this very special family,” he wrote in the caption of the publication.
