
Videos circulating on social networks show fish jumping on Avenida Francisco Junqueira, in Ribeirão Preto, interior of São Paulo, after the floods that hit the area this Saturday (13/12).
According to Civil Defense, the city accumulated 23 mm of rain in 24 hours between Friday (12/12) and Saturday.

The city also recorded additional flooding spots over the weekend. Around 40 houses in the Comunidade da Locomotive, located at Rua Major Brigadeiro Josino Martins de Assis, Vila Mariana, were affected. No casualties have been reported, according to Civil Defense.

On Avenida Doutor Francisco Junqueira, in Jardim Macedo, a vehicle with three occupants was partially submerged while trying to cross a flooded road. The passengers were rescued by firefighters without being injured.
