He added that the IRS moved from prioritizing large inspection operations to focus on guidance initiatives, a move he said has produced positive revenue results.
“This point I have already said, that in 2024 we achieved a turnover of 18 billion reais thanks to compliance actions, taxpayer advice and self-regularization, we plan to reach 50 billion reais this year,” he said.
