This Saturday, Defense Minister Margarita Robles urged her Labor counterpart, Yolanda Díaz, to stop the “regrets” and that he focuses “on hard work in his ministry.”
Robles made the statements a day after leader Sumar asked a government reshuffle after the cases of corruption and harassment around the PSOE.
“What I would say to Ms. Díaz is that there is a lot to work on; I suppose she will have a lot to work on in her ministry, I have a lot to work on in my ministry. Therefore, what I recommend to Ms. Díaz, what the citizens ask of us, is that we work. Some lamentations have no meaning”, Robles said in statements to the media at the Congress of Deputies on the occasion of the open days.
“Zero tolerance against corruption and maximum support for justice to clarify responsibilities; “We don’t want corrupt people, we don’t want sexists” emphasized in relation to the question of origin to then emphasize that, at the same time, citizens ask them to work. Robles encouraged people to report “any woman who feels wronged, offended” because “we’re all going to have us women behind us.”
