The judge severely observed that Faro presented the services in a manifestly misleading and reprehensible manner, taking into account the legitimate trust placed by the author in his word. The decision is clear in that it asserts that Rodrigo engaged in misleading advertising, actively participating in the company’s advertising and causing harm to Maria and countless other consumers.
Going further, the judge highlighted Rodrigo Faro’s recognized public profile and the damage resulting from his association with Triê’s fraudulent position.
The company was also dismissed by the judge, who highlighted the failure to provide services, the extent of the harm caused to the elderly woman and the flagrant violation of the obligations of the contract concluded with the consumer.
