“I receive with honor this statement from the president, which ends up being a recognition of our work,” the senator said in a statement sent to the press. “I have excellent relations with the President of the Republic and we will always give way to dialogue to reach a good agreement on this political issue,” Pacheco said.
The senator was invited to participate in the Federative Caravan with Lula in Minasbut remained in Brasilia to continue legislative work programs.
Previously, Lula said, in an interview with TV Alterosa, based in Belo Horizonte (MG), that he had not yet given up on having Pacheco as a candidate for State Executive and that “hope is the last thing that dies.”
