Rodrygo reaches the historic negative mark with Real Madrid

In the draw against Girona, Rodrygo became the striker with the most consecutive matches without scoring in Real Madrid’s history, after 30 matches. The last time he scored for Los Blancos was in March of this year, in a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, in a match eligible for the round of 16 of the Champions League.

He leaves behind Mariano Diaz and Rafa Marañon. In short, he stands behind the striker who played in the 1970s for the Merengues.

The strikers who have scored the most in consecutive matches with Real Madrid:

  • Rodrigo: 30 consecutive matches (1339 minutes);
  • Mariano Diaz: 30 consecutive matches (986 minutes);
  • Rafa Marañon: 29 consecutive matches (1416 minutes).
