MADRID, December 12 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Yuri Ushakov, advisor to Russian President Vladimir Putin, assured Friday that the American authorities had not yet presented their “revised” version of the peace plan for Ukraine, as planned after the latest contacts between the parties.
“We haven’t seen the corrected version of the American plans, so we might not like what they present,” he warned at a press conference during which he stressed that Moscow “must ensure that the Americans reach an agreement with the Europeans and the Ukrainians.”
In this sense, he warned that Russia could “see problems that it does not like” in relation to this plan, which will be adjusted to conversations between the United States and the Ukrainian side. “When we see it, we may not like it,” he said, according to information gathered by the Russian news agency TASS.
For his part, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian authorities did not currently have information on this subject. “The United States has not yet made a decision,” he added.
He further stressed that Moscow “does not know” whether there will be a “new meeting” between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian representatives. “We don’t know if this will happen or not. We have no information about it,” he stressed.
