This is detailed in Royal Decree-Law 16/2025, of December 23, which extends certain measures to address situations of social vulnerability and adopts urgent measures in tax and social security matters, published this Wednesday in the Official State Gazette (BOE). The text must be validated at the Congress of Deputies.
Specifically, is exempt from Personal Income Tax (IRPF), Wealth Tax and Corporation Taxto aid granted under Consell Decrees 172/2024 and 176/2024. This is the second measure accepted by the Central Executive of the Hundred that Llorca proposed during his meeting with Sánchez last week. The first was the activation of a joint commission to coordinate the reconstruction fourteen months after the ravine.
In statements to the media, Llorca evaluated this gesture “positively” and indicated that it is “a question of justice, because the people concerned who received aid from the Generalitat would not have had to pay any tax for this.”
However, he considers that he “insufficient”since Sánchez did not comment on other “very important” issues for the Valencian Community, such as the acceleration of work at Ground Zero, the reform of the regional financing system or the reduction of VAT to 4% for the purchase of a house.
