São Paulo opens investigation into cabin affair

São Paulo opened, this Monday (15), two investigations, one internal and one external, to investigate the cabin affair. In the audio, Douglas admits that this practice generated financial gain and states that the box ended up being passed on to third parties for commercial exploitation at events, notably during the singer Shakira’s concert, held in February this year. According to him, the space was granted to Mara by Superintendent Márcio Carlomagno, considered one of the main players in the political situation in São Paulo ahead of the 2026 elections.

In an interview with the Ge portal, which published the audios, he defended himself against the mention of his name. The commissioner claimed it was mentioned as a form of pressure for the matter not to be publicized and explained how the process would take place.

“I am one of those who most want the facts to be clarified. We must be clear. I am in a quote, perhaps as a pressure tool that they used, I don’t know why. This morning I requested the opening of an investigation, internal and external. In which I will also be heard. The external must be independent. Internally we will carry out the whole process,” he said.
