The attraction Christmas is love with Zezé Di Camargo will be displayed on Wednesday 17, at 11 p.m.
In the early hours of this Monday, Zezé published a video on Instagram in which he requests the cancellation of the SBT special broadcast because he does not agree with the presence of the president. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) during the inauguration of SBT News, last Friday the 12th.

Controversy over Zezé Di Camargo
In the video published on social networks, the singer expresses his discomfort with the current position of the channel, especially after the presence of President Lula (PT) at the inauguration of SBT News.
The Christmas special with Zezé has already been recorded and featured other artists. The country singer nevertheless said he preferred that the network reconsider the exposure. “If you could do me a favor: take off my special. I don’t want to be a part of it,” he said.
Zezé said SBT’s recent position does not reflect his personal beliefs. According to him, the channel has started to adopt a line with which he does not agree. “I saw what happened on SBT in the last few days. I swear to God that is not part of my thinking,” he said.
Without directly naming names, Zezé criticized the daughters of Silvio Santos, founder of the channel, saying that recent decisions would contradict the values defended by the businessman. “A son who does not honor his father and mother, for me, does not exist,” he said.
The country singer also said he was worried he would disappoint some of his audience if the special aired. “Your way of thinking does not correspond to a large part of the Brazilian people and I do not want to disappoint those who think differently,” he said.
He strengthens his argument by asserting that, given the change in position, the project no longer makes sense. “As long as people think differently from what their father thought, from what a large part of Brazil thinks and from what I think, for me it doesn’t make sense to broadcast this special,” he said.
Despite the criticism, Zezé said he retained affection for the broadcaster. At the end of the video, however, he said: “I think you (SBT) are prostitutes. So I’m not part of it.”
