A decision taken by the SBT on Tuesday evening (16) stirred social networks and surprised part of the public. The broadcaster has confirmed the cancellation of the broadcast of the Christmas Special Zeze Di Camargomodifying the planned programming following the repercussions of a recent controversy involving the country singer.
Instead of the special attraction, the channel chose to broadcast a new episode of Keysa Mexican series that remains one of the biggest audience and engagement phenomena on Brazilian television. The change came after criticism from Zeze Di Camargo in the presence of the president Lula (PT) during the launch event of SBT Newsa comment that sparked a strong reaction from the public.
The replacement was officially announced and quickly gained prominence on social networks, driven by a teaser broadcast by the channel.
