SBT announced that Bom Dia & Cia, then led by the duo Patati Patatá, will no longer be broadcast from next Monday (12/15). The piece will be replaced by journalistic programming and the broadcaster released a statement after making the cancellation official.
In the note, SBT salutes the work of the facilitators, who managed the program for seven months. “Bom Dia & Cia with Patati Patatá fulfilled its mission with excellence. Throughout its exhibition it provided safe entertainment for children, combined with a high artistic and production level,” the statement said.

According to Notícias da TV, during the last week of broadcast, the program obtained only 1.1 points on Monday (8/12) and 1.4 on Wednesday (10/12) in the São Paulo metropolitan area, falling even below the attractions broadcast in the early hours of the morning.
The channel highlights that children’s programming will continue to be broadcast with Sábado Animado, presented by Silvia Abravanel, and Domingo Animado, with special guests. SBT also recalled the duo’s creator, who was fired amid rumors of behind-the-scenes disagreements within the family’s channel Abravanel.
“The channel is grateful for the commitment of the entire production team, the duo of presenters and, in particular, Rinaldi Faria, creator and manager of the project,” the statement said.
The press release also highlights the launch of SBT Kids, planned for January, exclusively with children’s programs. “The channel can be seen as a haven of peace and entertainment for children at different stages of development. »
Despite the cancellation, Patati Patatá is expected to continue on SBT. The idea is to relocate the duo to other children’s attractions, such as Sábado Animado or Domingo Animado, which currently do not have a permanent presenter.
