The interview conducted by Alejandra Espinoza, which alternated with an exclusive presentation in Miami, led him to address various aspects of his professional and personal experience.

For the song he liked to sing live, he chose one of the youngest, CAction to return“because it’s the song I’ve sung the least and it has brutal energy.” Then he chose music for football and decided to collaborate with Michael Bublé, Elitaas the one who surprised him the most.
Talking about the most unexpected place you wrote a song, Yatra said, “Wherever it comes to your mind, I wrote it.” He also talked about his ritual before going on stage: “When I pray something before going to sleep, I literally open my hands and say, ‘I surrender to the unknown and I fall’. I free myself and fall into bed like a madman. It’s like the feeling that I’m surrendering to whatever comes.”
Then, when Yatra was asked about the artist who inspired him the most, he mentioned two names. “Of course I listen to artists like John Mayer their music and stuff. I love it. It was fascinating with Carlos (Vives) because I have a very close relationship. So the music he made and what he represents inspires me a lot, because it’s a musical life with meaning, with a lot of meaning,” he said.

During the conversation, the singer recalled how at the age of 12, a passion turned into a commitment.
“It was always something very serious for us, my mother and I”he confessed. “I had a guitar teacher back then, about 13, his name was Israel Machillo. He picked us up for lessons, I sang while we played guitar and he said to me: ‘Parce, you sing pretty well. I work in a studio, suddenly we can make a few songs and we show them to the producer who is behind this studio,'” he recalls, pointing out that it was the act of trust that led him to write his first songs.

Yatra also spoke about her mother’s role in these first steps. “She’s not so much about giving advice. She’s more about setting a good example,” he explains. “But there’s one thing: Ever since I was little, he talked to me a lot on the way to singing lessons. He told me, “If you ever have a microphone or a way to amplify your voice or your message, you have to think very carefully about what you want to convey to people and what kind of message you want to convey.”. “When I was little, I took it very seriously,” he said.
With the announcement of his tour, Yatra was excited about what is to come next year. “This year 2026 is already marking something and it hasn’t even begun yet. 2025 was one of the best years of my entire life. I think I have never enjoyed life so much, in all forms of love, connected to my family, connected to my friends, connected to so many people out of joy, out of gratitude. So we are fully committed,” he said.
