Recommendations for training in hot weather
Conscious hydration
Drinking water is necessary not only during exercise, but throughout the day. Staying well hydrated will help prevent health problems and improve performance. The consequences of dehydration include malaise, headaches, lack of concentration and irritability.
Appropriate clothing
Wear light, breathable clothing to keep your body temperature lower and more comfortable. Look for fabrics that don’t absorb water and help sweat evaporate quickly, such as polyester and polyamide. Avoid cotton, linen, and other natural, heavier fabrics that “suck up” water.
