The CBF publishes the basis of all championship matches, which will have new features next year
THE FCB published this Monday the basic table of the 38 laps of the Brazil 2026 and the Special Regulations for Competitions. The second round already hosts a São Paulo classic, while Flamengo and Palmeiras could have a decisive duel in the final rounds.
The first round will take place on January 28 and 29. São Paulo makes its debut against the current champion, Flamengo, at MorumBis. Palmeiras visits Atlético-MG. Corinthians welcome Bahia. And Santos visits Chapecoense, out of Serie B.
In the second round the first São Paulo classic will take place. It will be the duel between Santos and São Paulo, in Vila Belmiro, on February 4 or 5. In the sixth round, it was the turn of the Corinthians to go to Baixada Santista.
The first Choque-Rei will take place in the eighth round, with São Paulo against Palmeiras. The Palmeirenses will also be visitors in the first Derby, in the 11th round, at the Corinthians.
The Corinthians also control the first Majestoso in the 15th round. A round earlier, Palmeiras welcomes Santos.
One of the highlights is the clash between the two teams that have competed the most for the Brasileirão title in recent years. Flamengo and Palmeiras face each other in the 17th round, in Rio. On the way back, the duel is played in the penultimate lap (36th), with decisive potential for the championship.

The Serie A break for the World Cup will run from June 2 to July 21, between the 18th and 19th rounds.
The 2026 edition of the Brasileirão is the first with the Financial Sustainability System (SSF), the financial fair play of the CBF, in the regulations. The rules come into force gradually until 2029.
