The 6th and final round of the Conference League was played this Thursday (18/12) with 18 matches, eight clubs are classified directly for the round of 16. Teams finishing between 9th and 24th place qualify for the round of 16.
Frenchman Strasbourg finished the first phase of the Conference League in 1st place, with 16 points. The team was undefeated throughout the initial phase, recording five wins and one draw. In this round, the French team beat the Icelandic Breidablik, 3 x 1.
In 2nd place was Raków, from Poland. With 14 points added and without losing in the first phase, the team beat Omonia 1 x 0. To complete the top three, AEK Athens is in 3rd place. The Greeks beat Craiova 3-2.
In addition to these teams, five others are also assured in the round of 16: Sparta Prague, Rayo Vallecano, Shaktar, Mainz 05 and AEK Lanarca. From now on, they will not return to the field until March 2026.
16 other teams will compete in the round of 16: Lausanne, Crystal Palace, Lech Poznan, Samsunspor, Celje, AZ Alkmar, Fiorentina, Rijeka, Jagiellonia, Omonia, Noah, Drita, KuPS, Shkendija, Zrinjski and Sigma Olomouc.
