After leaving Monterrey, Mexico, Sergio Ramos may be close to another challenge in his career. Free on the market after the club’s elimination during the opening tournament of the Mexican championship, the experienced defender is wanted by the European giants, according to the Spanish newspaper AS.
The Spanish newspaper reports that Sergio Ramos could follow in the footsteps of Thiago Silva, who left Brazilian football and returned to Europe. Lacking defenders in the team, Manchester United of England and Milan of Italy are keeping an eye on the 39-year-old defender.

The European winter transfer window begins at the start of January, when both clubs are expected to move towards the signing of Sergio Ramos. However, even with possible interest from European giants, other markets cannot be ruled out, such as teams from Saudi Arabia and MLS.
Sergio Ramos arrived in Monterrey in February 2025. He participated in the Apertura and Clausura tournaments of the Mexican Championship. During his career, in addition to Rayados, the player defended the colors of Sevilla, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, winning important titles, such as the Champions League.
