
The CBF and the company responsible for implementing semi-automatic offside technology in matches of the Brazilian Championship have already carried out technical visits to nine stadiums that will be used in Serie A 2026. Among them are Nilton Santos, Maracanã, São Januário, MorumBIS, Arena Barueri, Neo Química Arena and Vila Belmiro, studied this Tuesday (16).
By the end of the year, seven more stadiums will be inspected by the Genius company: Mineirão, Arena MRV, Cícero de Souza Marques (Bragantino), Ligga Arena (Athletico-PR), Barradão, Arena Fonte Nova and Couto Pereira.
The technical visits phase is the first of the works which will end with the implementation of the technology. The teams carry out analyzes to define where and how the equipment will be installed. Then the testing phase will begin.
Beira-Rio, Allianz Parque, Arena do Grêmio, Maião (Mirassol), Baenão (Remo) and Arena Condá (Chapecoense) will remain for January.
