
A bus with 48 occupants overturned and left ten people seriously injured this Wednesday morning (12/17), on the BR-050, at km 198, northbound, in the municipality of Campo Alegre de Goiás (GO).

The vehicle was traveling in the direction of Brasilia-Catalão when, for reasons yet to be determined, it left the road and fell onto the side of the highway.
There were 48 occupants on board the bus and around ten passengers were more seriously injured, while the others suffered minor injuries.
The victims were rescued and transported to the health units of the municipalities of Cristalina, Campo Alegre de Goiás and Catalão, with the support of the Goiás Fire Brigade (CBMGO) and the concessionaire responsible for the highway. No deaths have been recorded.
The Federal Highway Police (PRF) responded to the accident and will investigate the causes of the accident. While the victims were being treated, only one lane of the road was closed.
The teams remained on site to signal the road, guide traffic and collect the information necessary to establish the Expertise Report on Traffic Accidents (LPST).
