In the last few hours a strong complaint has been made against Bernardo Solá, husband of Maru Botana. A former employee of a store owned by the bakery sued him over debts and workplace harassment.
“Mr. Solá regularly observed certain parts of the plaintiff’s body, even the bodies of other workers, which not only caused her discomfort, but also forced her to stop wearing makeup and come to work more untidy,” says the file of the complaint filed with the Regional Court of First Instance No. 47.
“The plaintiff adjusts the amount of her claim, including the interest charged so far, in the amount of 50 million pesos,” says the lawsuit filed by a woman identified as Lourdes Bouchet, who initiated the lawsuit against Solá and others responsible.
For the time being it was known that there was an agreement between the parties. The lawyers of both the complainant and the confectioner’s husband agreed on a transaction, applied for homologation and agreed to pay an embargo amount, and then applied for the embargo to be lifted.
In this way, the defendant agreed to pay the sum of 50 million pesos “for reconciliation purposes only,” without acknowledging that the events had occurred.
In LAM (America, Monday to Friday at 8 p.m.), Ángel de Brito, host of the series, explained that as of December 9, “22 million pesos have already been paid” and that “the rest will be paid until the total debt is paid.” The first installment of $11,000 must be paid on January 8 and then $2,000 per month until the amount agreed in the lawsuit is reached, which is “designated for workplace harassment and harassment.”
Bernardo Solá and Maru Botana started dating in 1997. They married that same year and have stayed together ever since, 28 years later.
This relationship resulted in eight children: Agustín, Lucía, Matías, Sofía, Santiago, Juan Ignacio, María Inés and Facundo. The latter tragically died in 2008 from a sudden death at the age of six months.
Solá has a degree in agricultural science and keeps a low profile on his social networks, although he usually shares moments with his family at social events and on vacation.
