The 2025/26 Women’s Volleyball Super League has a new leader. Sesc RJ Flamengo won the classic against Fluminense by 3 sets to 0, partial scores of 30-28, 25-21 and 25-21, Tuesday evening (9/12), at the Ginásio da Hebraica, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), maintained a series of 9 matches without defeat and took the lead in the competition for the first time in the season, with 25 points.

In the next round, Sesc RJ Flamengo will host the last team Renasce Sorocaba on Friday, at 9:30 p.m., at the Tijuca Tênis Clube Gym, in Rio de Janeiro. Fluminense will face Tijuca on Monday, at 6:30 p.m., at the opponent’s home.
North American winger Simone Lee was once again decisive and won the VivaVôlei Trophy once again. She was the top scorer of the match with 26 points (23 on offense and 3 on block). Opposing Ariane led Fluminense with 17 hits.
At the end of the second set, with Sesc RJ Flamengo winning 23-20, the match was stopped for about 15 minutes because a fan lit a flare inside the gymnasium. A fight broke out and play resumed as soon as the fan was removed from the gymnasium.
