Presenter Silvia Abravanel, daughter of businessman and communicator Silvio Santos, opened her heart this Wednesday (24/12) and gave details behind the scenes of SBT. The celebrity said she denied holding management positions at the station set up by her father and, without naming names, blew up the “egos” of artists, especially “debutants”.

Silvia, who runs Sábado Animado, said she refused to work as a director on the channel. “I can’t. No, no, no, I don’t have the patience. I don’t have the patience to deal with others!”, admitted the artist in an interview with Jornal dos Famosos, on LeoDias TV. “They’ve already called me, but I don’t have the patience to deal with people’s psychology.”

She followed and complained about the egos of many artists. “People are very hesitant. And the ego of an artist is even worse. I worked with Silvio Santos, who had no ego. Then I see people who start with this idea of demanding a red carpet, champagne, ‘I want to be and arrive’. It’s not possible! I can’t do it,” he said, without naming names.
“I’m very down to earth. I live in Brazil, I can’t be something (on TV) that I’m not in my real life, in my house, in my room. I think that people who approach me in the street have to see Silvia with a clean face, as I am, I can’t be something that I have to represent later. I don’t know how to wear a mask with anyone!”, he reinforced.

Silvia Abravanel continued her story by saying that her father was a simple man. “My father was also a simple person, I was raised by an extremely simple person. And everyone knows he was, he didn’t represent it. I started at the SBT by inspecting the toilets, I’m not ashamed to say that. If I have to go on March 25, I’m going, no problem.”
The presenter said people are often shocked by her sincerity and it has already cost her friendships. “People are very shocked by my sincerity. I’ve lost people before, I don’t call them ‘friends,’ because I think when you’re honest and they don’t accept it, they’re not your friends, they want to hear what they hear, not what they need to hear,” he said.
“And I’m totally ready. You don’t want to know my opinion? Don’t ask, because I’ll tell you right there,” he added. “I’m really like that, I’m an Aries. (People) Understand sincerity as arrogance, rudeness, irritability, lack of humility… There’s no such thing! We are what we are,” he concluded.
