Sesc RJ Flamengo remains unbeaten in the 2025/26 Women’s Volleyball Premier League. The Rio team achieved its ninth victory in nine matches by defeating Cisse Bauru, three sets to 2, with partial scores of 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 25-21 and 15-13, on Friday evening (5/12), at the Genacio Paolo Scaff Stadium, in Bauru (SP), within the ninth round of the competition.

Sesc RJ Flamengo will return to the field next Tuesday (9/12) for the classic match against Fluminense, at 9:30pm, at the Ginásio da Hebraica, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). Cisse will face Bauru Minas on Friday (12/12), at 6:30pm, in Belo Horizonte (MG).
Coach Henrique Modenese did not have Caselli in full condition, as he was recovering from knee pain. She started on the bench and was named in the starting lineup. Cisse Bauru opened two sets to one, and from the third game onwards, Bernardinho chose center Gogo Gandra instead of Kirov, who left the field with just one point.
In the tie-break, Sesc RJ Flamengo led 6-1 on the scoreboard with Lorena serving and looked to be heading for an uneventful victory in the partial. But Cisse Bauru sought to achieve the result and tied the score 8-8, then turned the score around 13-12. But Simone Lee was once again decisive in finishing off the match to score three successive points and maintain her unbeaten record in the Superliga.
