These adjustments allow us to increase production capacity,” he explains.
The personalized gifts market continues to expand
According to data from Technavio published on the Central do Varejo website, the global market for personalized gifts is expected to grow by US$10.76 billion between 2025 and 2029, registering an average annual growth rate of 6.7%. For Christmas 2025, Miara says the company has seen significant growth in the search for mugs with sentimental and exclusive customizations. Artworks with photos, character phrases, names, cartoon-style illustrations and Christmas themes remain among favorites, according to the specialist. “Another highlight is the increase in corporate orders, especially from companies looking for personalized gifts for employees and customers, with a brand logo and visual identity. The trend is clear: the more personalized and meaningful the mug, the greater the demand.” Among the main design trends, the professional highlights minimalist arts with fine lines and pastel paintings, as well as cartoon-style illustrations and portraits, which are still on the rise. “We also noticed an increased demand for themes that indicate nostalgia, such as retro references and classic Christmas elements, as well as art that combines humor and emotional messages. Among corporate clients, interest is growing in more sophisticated designs, which value visual identity, corporate colors and clean compositions,” explains the Só Canecas specialist.
Updated catalog to follow consumer trends
In order to monitor consumer behavior, Só Canecas constantly updates its catalog. In addition to monitoring customer preferences, the company analyzes recurring orders, trends emerging on social media, and what types of customizations are gaining traction throughout the year. “We monitor internal sales data and look for references in design and digital behavior to anticipate market movements. Based on this information, we create new artwork, adjust already built-in styles and expand our customization options. This ongoing work seeks to ensure that our catalog is always in line with audience tastes and emerging trends, especially during periods of high demand such as Christmas.” Peak Christmas sales are one of the key thermometers for planning for 2026.
