He Institute Alicante of Culture Juan Gil-Albert from Alicante says goodbye to the year with a programming dedicated to the Christmas parties and designed to enjoy with the whole family. Christmas carols, stories and other activities that will connect different cultures … and experiences to share on these special dates.
He Choir of the bonfire Seneca-Autobusos will perform its repertoire of Christmas carols in the room of Bardin House next Thursday, December 18. From 6:30 p.m., adults and children will be able to enjoy this vocal group, whose long career has earned it recognition and important awards, such as the one won at the XXXIX Certamen de Villancicos de Hogueras, organized last weekend in Alicante.
Maison Bardin will also be the scene, on Friday December 19, of a very special meeting between guests from different parts of the world. “Christmas in the World” will bring together people from different nationalities -Germans, Venezuelans, Ukrainians, Chinese and Romanians- to discover how they appreciate these dates in their places of origin. Participants will be able to share with them their experiences and know their traditions, their music (with live performances) and its gastronomywith some tastings of typical dishes from this time of year.
The last week of the year will return with more Christmas carols, between now and Lyric Company Alicantina, a group founded in 1969, will return to Casa Bardin to offer its Christmas repertoire on Monday December 29 from 6:30 p.m.
Finally, on Tuesday December 30, the little ones will be able to enjoy an evening of Storyteller of Christmas by the reading animators César Martín de Vega and Pedro Fernández.
Apart from these activities, this Thursday the presentation of solidarity book “Count on me”, created by Angela Garcia after the tragedy of Dana of Valencia and promoted by the Association of Solidarity of Workers of the Provincial Deputation of Alicante. Will participate in the event Albano Lopezwhich will tell first-hand how the publishing house La Orquídea de Darwin is experiencing the recovery after the floods and will encourage the little ones to understand what happened from an attentive and valuable point of view.
