
The platform of streaming Spotify experienced a significant drop in its serviceaffecting thousands of users around the worldespecially in the United States, where more than 30,000 issues were reported around 9:22 a.m. ET (3:22 p.m. Spanish Peninsula Time), as reported by Reuters.
In Downdetector, the portal that monitors interruptions in digital services, also indicated problems in Spain.
Users have reported difficulty logging in, loading content, and streaming songs or podcasts.
Through X (Twitter), the platform warned of what had happened, saying that it was “aware of certain issues at this time” and that it was investigating them.

Around 4:15 p.m. Peninsula Time crash reports on Downdetector decreased significantly and a few minutes later Spotify confirmed on its X account that the problems have been resolved.
