A video obtained by Metropolises shows the moment a 22-year-old man stabbed his cousin’s 29-year-old ex-boyfriend this Monday morning (12/29) in block 805 of Recanto das Emas (DF).

In the file, it is possible to observe the victim, dressed in blue shorts, arriving in front of the gate of a house and asking the attacker to “leave” the premises, a knife in his hand.
The suspect, dressed in black shorts, accepts the victim’s invitation to “rejoice”. Also with a knife in his hand he leaves the house. Two cousins and another woman come out of the residence.
The two begin to fight and attempt to stab each other. However, only one ultimately managed to receive the stab.
The victim was hit in the abdomen and, despite being punctured, tried to run after the attacker. However, the man was restrained by another person.

Reluctantly, the stabbed man escapes and shoots the suspect, who eventually runs away.
When he loses sight of him, he runs towards his ex-girlfriend, trips her and is restrained again.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported to the Taguatinga Regional Hospital. There is no information on his health status.
The author’s escape
The attacker fled the scene after the assault, but was located by the 27th Military Police Battalion (MPB) team in a nearby block.
When questioned, the suspect justified the crime by claiming that he had acted in self-defense after intervening in a fight between his cousin and her ex-boyfriend.
The woman was located and questioned. She said her ex-partner had a knife and attacked her, injuring her hand.
The suspect responsible for the stabbing and the woman involved were taken to Police Station 27 (Recanto das Emas), where the incident was recorded and remains under investigation.
