Members of the investigation zone of the Civil Guard of Villarrobledo, within the framework of the operation ‘Rejum’they have arrested eight peopleinhabitants of the aforementioned municipality, aged between 20 and 60, as alleged perpetrators of a … crime against public healthin the form of drug trafficking, another of money laundering and a third of membership in a criminal organization.
Among the services that the Albacete Civil Guard has activated for the detection and eradication of points of production, sale and distribution of narcotic substances, members of the Benemérita de Villarrobledo investigation zone were aware of the existence of a house in said town that could serve as a point of sale and distribution of narcotic substances, in particular cocaine.
During the investigation it was possible to verify how this house served as a point of falsification, dosage and sale of drugs, as well as a storage place, moving part of the drugs to a nearby public establishment, managed by the inmates, where they were put on sale in small doses, thus laundering the money from said sales in said place.
Both the home and the public establishment investigated were very close to several secondary educational establishments in the city of Villarroble, which considerably increased the social risk derived from criminal activity.
This place, frequented by minorsreinforced the need to adopt immediate operational measures, so that, thanks to discreet surveillance and operational services in said area, it was possible to verify a constant flow of vehicles and people accessing the house, who left after a few minutes, which made the agents of the Corps suspect that these short visits were intended to acquire drugs.
The six detainees were part of a family clan with specific tasks within the structure of the criminal organization. On the one hand, there was the boss, responsible for carrying out the trips, with his partner, to places in the Community of Madrid in order to acquire the drug, also carrying out tasks of falsification and packaging of the narcotic.
Secondly, there would be the rest of the family members, responsible for the direct sale of the narcotic, either at home or in the public establishment they managed, even making home deliveries at the request of consumers.
Drugs in candy
During the police investigation, the Civil Guard made numerous seizures of cocaine from people identified after short visits to the house under investigation, revealing initial suspicions indicating drug sales.
Concerning the public establishment, it was possible to verify how the people surveyed, in order not to attract the attention of other customers during the busiest hours of the premises, They used a camouflage method consisting of delivering small bags of candy, inside which they placed the dose of cocaine..
During the exploitation phase of Operation “Rejum”, the Civil Guard located and arrested the eight people investigated, curiously one of them was arrested while going to the house and the point of sale with the intention of getting rid of the narcotics and eliminating any type of evidence that linked the house to the sale of drugs.
Thanks to the evidence collected during the police investigation phase, the Corps agents responsible for the actions, with the required judicial authorization, carried out a search of the home investigated, where 432 grams of cocaine ready for sale were seized, or 10,186 euros in cash, probably coming from the sale of the narcotic; a detonator pistol; and four daggersconsidered a prohibited weapon.
Also several precision balances, a packaging machine, as well as various effects used for dosing and packaging the narcotic. Three passenger vehicles used by the dismantled criminal organization to commit the crime under investigation and 6,500 doses of narcotics outside the illicit market
The narcotic substances seized by the Civil Guard during the search of the home would have represented 6,500 doses on the illicit market after having been put on sale.
With this action, the Civil Guard prevented the seized drugs from being destined for retail sale, dismantling two points of sale and distribution of active narcotics that not only limited themselves to the population of Villarrobledo, but also supplied consumers from other neighboring towns.
The procedures carried out by the Benemérita Investigation Zone of Villarrobledo, as well as the detainees, were brought to the disposal of the Court of Instruction number two of said city, which heard the trial, decreeing the incarceration of four of the eight detainees of the operation.
These actions are also part of the services that the Benemérita Albaceteña Command provides within the framework of the Operational Police Response Plan to retail trafficking and drug consumption in educational centers and their environments, reinforcing the commitment of the State Security Forces and Bodies to protect health from drugs and alcohol from an early age.
The police operation was coordinated and directed by the investigation zone of the Civil Guard of Villarrobledo, in collaboration in the personal exploitation phase and by a dog trained in drug detection from the canine service of the command of the Civil Guard of Albacete.
