After pure vicethe director chose Vineland as raw material for One battle after another: a blockbuster that combines the seriousness of the subjects covered with comedy and action. It’s a mix that the Oscars won’t be able to resist, and surely neither will the public.

It wasn’t as well received, but Emilie in Paris also managed to consolidate a loyal fan base, who followed the bright character of Lily Collins during his romantic misadventures. In the recently released fifth season, the series defies its own title to find the heroine wandering around Rome.
